WRTC 2026 Remote Operations Sign Up

During the World Radio Team Championship 2026 in Wyboston, UK, I have arranged with the WRTC 2026 Committee to host six remote operating positions at the HQ facility. We have lined up some exciting stations that you will be able to operate during the IARU contest.

The current station lineup includes ZW5B from Brazil, 7Q6M from Malawi, VK6SJ from Australia, K6RO (Maine) from the United States, KH7M from the Big Island in Hawaii, and ZF5T from the Cayman Islands. We are currently talking to station owners in Asia and in Europe, and would like to add those to the mix.

Some of the operating positions may have physical remote hardware; for the others, you will have a remote desktop interface to the station, with full access to the radio, logger, and controls. Specific details will be forthcoming. We will have headsets for all the operators.

Note: The remote operations will be supervised by Ed Parish, K1EP, who holds US Extra and Canadian Advanced Amateur licenses. Your ability to operate will be based on the regulations of the host country, the operators at the station location, and your license, of course. We don't see many limitations. We will advise you if there is an issue with you operating a particular station.
